Unplug and immerse yourself with a Lotus Sound Bath performed by Douglas Cardwell, designed to relax the body, clear the mind, and uplift the spirit as you navigate towards the light of the approaching spring.
Guests will enjoy a unique meditative concert—an instrumental experience that is both auditory and physical—performed by a music professional and certified sound bath practitioner using crystal singing bowls, gongs, cymbals, and other high-vibrational resonant instruments in the spacious and comfortable surroundings of FUSION | 708.
As you lie comfortably, waves of sound will release tension throughout the body and soothing melodies will slow the mind during this 60-minute sound immersion. The therapeutic sound bath is designed not only to relax but to take you on a transformational journey, reset and restore the nervous system, and expand the mind, body, and spirit toward an overall healthier state of being and positive state of mind.
If you have never had a sound bath before, this is a wonderful opportunity to do so in a large acoustic setting with an experienced and dedicated professional. We look forward to welcoming you.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR A SOUND BATH:
Please, no strong fragrances.
Bring a yoga mat or small blanket and pillow to be able to lie comfortably. Eye covers will be available.
Arrive early. This will allow you to choose your space and relax prior to the event. Doors will open at approximately 5:30 PM.
Finally, as with any activity, sound healing is most effective when participants embrace the experience. Approached with willingness and good intentions, you are more likely to feel a lasting and positive difference.

Master Percussionist and former Principal Timpanist for the New Mexico Philharmonic, Douglas Cardwell brings over thirty years of experience as a professional musician to the realm of sound healing and meditation. In 2019, Douglas combined his knowledge and passion for music, personal journey, and commitment to holistic health to open Lotus Sound Bath in Albuquerque in order to explore, share, and raise public awareness about this unique modality.
