Humorist and storyteller Carolyn Meyer consulted the experts, but nothing prepared her for what it really means to be a “Mother” – in every sense of the word.

MOTHERHOOD. WHAT A BITCH! is Carolyn’s third solo show to open at The Cell, after the successful run of DON’T CALL ME YOUNG LADY! in 2019 and THE OLD WHITE LADY TELLS IT: THE MAKING AND UNMAKING OF A RACIST that opened in the spring of 2020.

Carolyn, the author of sixty books for children and young adults before reinventing herself as a performer, has traveled to a dozen cities, from London to Honolulu, as a storyteller with The Moth.
