An inspiring, original live music and visual journey through the heart of nature, the depth of sound, and the vastness of space, performed with dynamic and expressive electronic and acoustic instruments.
NY-based musician Matt Venuti will perform his multimedia show, AmeriCosmos. The performance consists of live, electro-acoustic music providing a soundtrack to awe-inspiring video footage that Matt has captured throughout the country. The performance also includes a stunning trip through the vast dimensions of space, courtesy of NASA and the Webb Telescope. The instrumentation includes rare and expressive acoustic and electronic instruments that he was among the first to share with the world. His creative use of a looping device allows him to create soul-stirring compositions that are mostly improvised. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
MATT VENUTI is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist/singer-songwriter and visual artist best known for his performances and compositions with rare and expressive acoustic and electronic instruments that he was among the first to share with the world. He's performed on numerous national stages and high-profile events as a soloist and with his San Francisco-based band. One of his most popular offerings includes performing live music to stunning nature footage that he’s captured from around the country. His AmeriCosmos multimedia performance also includes the most awe-inspiring footage from Space.
Matt’s innovative music career was launched and cultivated in San Francisco and he tours the country every year as a solo artist. He’s been an Artist In Residence in some of our greatest National Parks and a featured performer at multiple TED and TEDx Conferences. Two of Matt’s albums charted in the top 10 on College Media Journal and Zone Music Reporter.
