Closing Reception for “PROTEST 2024!” curated by Martinart Studios
Martinart Studios invites you to the Closing Reception for the "PROTEST 2024!” Exhibit which is Part of the “Two Moons Exhibit Series” on December 29th, 2–4 PM at FUSION | 708. Thank you to the folks from across the state who viewed the exhibit, making it a great success! Congratulations to all the artists!
Artivism is Artist Activism. Using critical thinking, Artists in this exhibit strive to make a difference and change the world. They offer insight into our humanity and challenge our visual perspective and perception of society. They hold up a mirror for us to view issues that appear on the front pages of the media and also reveal issues hidden under the rug. Their art is art that asks questions and seeks answers. Their goal is to open our minds and reflect on justice and social progress. Painting, sculpture, mixed media, fiber, printmaking, video, poetry, photography, and other forms of art are included in this exhibit. The art in this exhibit is about paying attention!

ABOUT MARTINART STUDIOS
Art is making something out of nothing. Art is asking the big questions. Art is Drawing a line somewhere. Art must make us think and feel something when we encounter it, wherever we encounter it. Art is a passion to create. Art is many different things to many different people.
As a curator, Martin Terry looks for those qualities that are original, experimental, thought provoking, innovative, passionate, and executed with the highest quality, skill, and professionalism. Martin prefers to view art initially from E-Media then follows up with a visit to the artist studio. All Art Matters.
