Albuquerque Modern Band Lab presents ABQ Modern Band Fest! Come watch 12 of Albuquerque’s youngest & most talented bands perform at the ABQ Modern Band Fest! Celebrating music across a range of genres with musicians ages 12-19 from PAPA (Public Academy for the Performing Arts), Youth Jazz Collaborative of NM, and AMBL (Albuquerque Modern Band Lab).

Modern Band encompasses a full spectrum of popular music genres, from pop and rock to folk, country, and jazz, and in these contexts allows students the opportunity to explore their creativity in a more contemporary, inclusive, and relevant setting.
