The City of Albuquerque UETF Resiliency Residency presents …thrum… curated by Madrone Matysiak.
…thrum… celebrates the dedication and quiet diligence of seven unique artists. A subtle yet persistent hum in the background, they pour themselves into their work, producing pieces that embody a silent and sure intention with a distinctive rhythm.
This exhibit features works in abstract painting, photography, textile and apparel, and interactive multimedia, and it is clear that all the artists have a profound connection to their medium and craft. Comprised of artists who received a 2022 UETF Resiliency Residency grant, …thrum… honors personal narratives, vibrant inspiration, and artistic commitment.
