ABOUT THE DESERT DARLINGS

The Desert Darlings are an award-winning Fusion Belly Dance troupe based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. They specialize in theatrical belly dance, producing large stage shows annually.  Founded by two sisters in 2010, the troupe now consists of eleven dancers with various dance backgrounds. Their main focus is storytelling through dance and they perform all original choreographies, many of which are collaborations between several members of the troupe. Their goal is to transport you to a different time and place with beautifully strange belly dancing.

You can find them performing monthly at Tractor Brewing Wells Park, biweekly at Kaktus Brewing Company, and teaching dance classes weekly at Sirena Studio.
