Slow down, unplug, and immerse yourself with Lotus Sound Bath performed by Douglas Cardwell, and a gentle midsummer sound meditation designed to release stress, focus the mind, and uplift the spirit.
Guests will enjoy a unique meditative concert, an instrumental experience that is both auditory and physical, performed by a music professional and certified sound bath practitioner using gongs, crystal singing bowls, and other high-vibrational resonating instruments within the inviting surroundings of FUSION | 708.
Please bring a yoga mat or blanket and pillow to lie comfortably as waves of sound release tension throughout the body and soothing tones gently clear the mind during this 60-minute sound immersion. This therapeutic sound bath is not only designed for deep relaxation and stress relief, but also to tap into the subconscious, sift through the roots of emotions, clear mental distraction, reset and restore the nervous system, and expand the mind, body, and spirit towards an overall healthier state of being and more positive mood.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR A SOUND BATH:
Bring a yoga mat or small blanket and pillow to be able to lie comfortably. Eye covers are recommended and will be available.
Arrive early. This will allow you to choose your space and relax prior to the event. Doors will open at approximately 5:30 PM.
Please, no strong fragrances.
Finally, as with any activity, sound healing is most effective when participants embrace the experience. Approached with willingness and good intentions, you are more likely to feel a lasting and positive difference.

Master Percussionist and former Principal Timpanist for the New Mexico Philharmonic, Douglas Cardwell brings over thirty years of experience as a professional musician to the realm of sound healing and meditation. In 2019, Douglas combined his knowledge and passion for music, personal journey, and commitment to holistic health to open Lotus Sound Bath in Albuquerque in order to explore, deliver, and raise public awareness about the benefits of this unique modality.
