ABOUT PACHUKO
Pachuko was formed in 1993 by Lead Guitarist Maldo Ramirez. The band went through many changes as far as musicians, but the main players were John "Gypsy" Parker (lead vocals), Mike "Mudbone" Strother (bass), Chris Vigil (keyboard), Joey "Flaco" Ramirez (sax), Wayne "Lil Boy Blue" Edwards (trumpet), Joe Herrera (timbales), Ray Garcia (congas), and Johnny Apodaca (drums). Their music is original and is a reflection of the band's life experiences. The name "Pachuko" is associated with the proud culture of the Hispanic community, which is the image the band wanted to portray. "Music is the universal language which surpasses all barriers and boundaries, it was created by the supreme being for the coadunation of all peoples, to celebrate in spirit, body, and soul." - Maldo Ramirez Follow us on Instagram @pachukomusic
