Come to FUSION | 708 on Friday, August 2, from 10 PM–12:30 AM for Salsa Under the Stars End of Season After Party with Resident Dj's Louis and Pancho.

The first in a series of Monthly Latin Music and Dance Socials begins August 2 as we say goodbye to Salsa Under the Stars for the season.  Longtime Summer series DJs Louis and Pancho will take turns with extended sets on this night.

ABOUT DJs LOUIS & PANCHO

For over 30 years, DJs Louis & Pancho have provided New Mexico audiences Latin dance music in local clubs and on the radio, as well as live music by world-class performers. Their efforts have included co-hosting “Salsa Sabrosa” on KUNM 89.9 FM, providing break music with live local talent at the Cooperage Restaurant for over fifteen years, and hosting the first salsa/Latin DJ night in Albuquerque at the Martini Grille. They have produced shows featuring national and international acts for the annual City of Albuquerque Salsa Fiesta in Old Town, the National Hispanic Cultural Center, and the Cooperage, including such luminaries as the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, NG La Banda, SonCafé, Ocho y Más, Eddie Palmieri, Havana NRG!, Karl Perazzo and Avance, Tromboranga, and more. They have DJed with Los Van Van, Rubén Blades, and others gracing local stages. Since the mid-1990s they have provided break music at the NMJW “Salsa Under the Stars” Series at the Albuquerque Museum. While Louis presently basks in semi-retirement, Pancho soldiers on with Melaza Music Productions, bringing New Mexicans “Domingos en Arte” at the National Hispanic Cultural Center during the summer months and hosting the Salsa on Sundays SOS salsa social dancing at the Maple Street Dance Studio in Nob Hill.
