FUSION Social Club August 23rd

This week, the FUSION Social Club will have a featured activity led by Laurie Thomas. Together, the group will look into the connection of art and neuroscience based on the perspective of Dr. David Eagleman with special focus given to the process of creativity and the phenomenon of synesthesia.

ABOUT FUSION SOCIAL CLUB

Spend an hour every other Wednesday in FUSION’s spirited 708 space. All are welcome to gather together to explore art, theatre, music, food, travel, events of the day, literature, and the world of film. Laurie Thomas, FUSION Co-founder, will lead the group In an hour-long journey of discussion with featured guests every week. Come join the discussion on August 23 at 10:00 am in FUSION | 708. ABOUT David Eagleman

Although David Engleman can’t join the Social Club in person, the activity is based on his body of work. Dr. David Engleman is a neuroscientist at Stanford University and an internationally bestselling author. Many have viewed his PBS series, The Brain with David Eagleman. He’s also an Albuquerque kid whose interest in theatre, particularly playwriting, sparked his passion for writing fiction.
